My grandmother’s hamburger casserole is classic comfort food! Featuring ground beef, noodles, and a creamy cheese sauce, this simple recipe dates back to the 1940’s. You can tweak the amount of cheese and sour cream depending on what you’ve got in the fridge — it’ll still turn out great!
Ingredients :
2 lb box medium shells
2 lb ground hamburger, cooked with garlic/ onion/salt/pepper
3 boxes tomato soup
2 cup cheddar cheese
2 cup mozzarella cheese
Preparation :
Cook noodles according to package instructions and filters.
Browning hamburger, add two boxes tomato soup to the skillet.
Add 1/2 cup water. And stir & cook over heat for 4 min.
Cast noodles in a greased 9×15 baking dish.
Cast hamburger mixture on noodles.
Spread cheese on casserole & cover with leaf.
Bake in a 370 on for 21 min. And remove leaf and bake about 11 min.
Enjoy!
