Effortless No Mess Bag Omelettes
Ingredients:—–
4 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1/4 cup bell pepper, finely chopped
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup tomato, diced
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional toppings: salsa, avocado, chives
Directions:—–
1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, bell pepper, onion, and tomato to the egg mixture. Mix well.
4. Pour the egg mixture into a resealable plastic bag. Press out as much air as possible and seal the bag tightly.
5. Carefully place the sealed bag into the boiling water. Cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the omelette is fully cooked.
6. Remove the bag from the water with tongs and let it cool for a minute.
7. Carefully open the bag and slide the omelette onto a plate.
