Here is my recipe for flour tortillas, nothing fancy very simple.
ingrédients :—
6 cups of flower
1 table spoon of salt
1 table spoon of baking powder
1 cup of vegetable shortening
Add 2 cups of hot water.

Use a fork to mix it, if is too hot for your hands.
Work the dough for 5 minutes.
Let it rest in a plastic bag for 20-30 minutes.
This should give you about 24 tortillas. Portion your dough and make your testales, little dough balls. Put flour, lightly, on the container you are going to keep them while you make them. This will prevent them from sticking to it.
Put some flour on your board to roll your tortillas. You will find this makes a huge difference.
Your comal should be at medium heat.
