Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Cake 🍦
A delightful dessert combining chocolate chip cookies, vanilla ice cream, and hot fudge topping, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:——
1 (18 ounce) package small chocolate chip cookies
¼ cup margarine, melted
1 cup hot fudge topping, divided
2 quarts vanilla ice cream, divided
1 cup whipped cream
12 cherries
Instructions:
Begin by crushing half of the chocolate chip cookies (about 20 cookies) into crumbs. Combine the cookie crumbs with melted margarine and press them into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan or pie plate. Arrange the remaining cookies around the edge of the pan. Spread 3/4 cup of the hot fudge topping over the cookie crust. Place the pan in the freezer for 15 minutes to allow the fudge layer to set. While the crust is chilling, soften 1 quart of vanilla ice cream either in the microwave or at room temperature. Once the crust is chilled, spread the softened ice cream evenly over the fudge layer. Freeze for an additional 30 minutes. Scoop the remaining quart of vanilla ice cream into balls and arrange them over the spread ice cream layer in the pan. Press gently to create an even layer. Freeze the cake until it is firm, preferably for 4 hours to overnight. To serve, garnish the top of the cake with the remaining 1/4 cup of hot fudge topping, whipped cream, and cherries.
