Cheesy Parmesan Pork Chops with Creamy Scalloped Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless pork chops
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375F (190C).
- Mix Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
- Coat both sides of the pork chops with the Parmesan mixture.
- Place the pork chops on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until they are fully cooked.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and stir in flour until smooth.
- Gradually whisk in milk and cook until it thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and layer sliced potatoes in it.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the potatoes.
- Bake covered for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes until the potatoes are tender and bubbly.
