Cheesy Garlic Bread Bites
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 large eggs
1/4 cup almond flour (optional, for added crispiness)
1 tsp Italian seasoning (or mixed dried herbs)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Prepare the cheese mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, eggs, almond flour (if using), Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until a sticky dough forms.
Shape the mixture:
Spread the cheese mixture evenly onto the parchment-lined baking tray. Use a spatula to flatten it into a thin, even layer.
Bake the base:
Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15–18 minutes or until the edges start turning golden brown.
Slice into squares:
Remove the tray from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the baked cheese mixture into bite-sized squares.
Final bake:
Return the tray to the oven and bake for another 5–7 minutes to crisp up the edges.
Serve:
Let the bites cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley for added flavor if desired.
