Ingredients:
For the Meatloaf:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Topping:
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. **Preheat Oven:** Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. **Prepare Meatloaf Mixture:** In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
3. **Form and Bake:** Transfer the meatloaf mixture into a baking dish and shape into a loaf. Bake for 45 minutes.
4. **Add Topping:** Remove from oven and spread sour cream over the meatloaf. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
5. **Finish Baking:** Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. **Garnish and Serve:** Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
