My kids couldn’t believe

My kids couldn’t believe we made these at home! They gobbled them up and asked for more.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

—————————————————

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.
  6. In another bowl, mix the peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  7. Take a tablespoon of brownie dough and flatten it in your hand. Place a small dollop of the peanut butter mixture in the center and wrap the brownie dough around it, forming a ball.
  8. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheets, leaving some space between them.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set. Remember, they’ll firm up as they cool.
  10. Once out of the oven, press a few chocolate chips on top of each cookie for extra yumminess.
  11. Let them cool on a wire rack before enjoying.

Tips:

  • You can store these cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • For a fun twist, try using crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy!”
