✅️PALITAW SA GATA | Sweet Flat Rice Cake
Ingredients:
• 4 cups glutinous rice flour
• 1 ½cups water

• ⅛ cup sesame seeds
• 3 cups coconut milk
• ¾ cup sugar
• jackfruit strips

Methods:
Put the glutinous rice flour in the bowl, add the water gradually. Knead well until smooth.
Form into a ball and flatten.

Toast the sesame seeds until brown. Remove from pan. Let it cool and crush the seeds. Set aside.

Put the coconut milk in the pan, boil it on high to medium heat. When it boils, put the jackfruit and sugar, stir. Cook until the coconut milk thickens.
Drop the flat dough and when it floats it means it’s cooked. Sprinkle with crushed sesame seeds and a bit of salt. Simmer for 2 minutes.
Transfer to a serving bowl.
