Ingredients:
Brownie Base:
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup cocoa powder
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cheesecake Layer:
3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
Topping:
1 cup caramel sauce
1 cup chocolate ganache
1/2 cup whole pecans
Directions:
Prepare the Brownie Base:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
In a large bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder until well combined.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
Add flour and salt, stirring until just combined.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool completely.
Prepare the Cheesecake Layer:
In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
Fold in chopped pecans.
Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled brownie base.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Assemble the Topping:
Drizzle caramel sauce over the chilled cheesecake.
Drizzle chocolate ganache over the caramel.
Garnish with whole pecans.
