Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
8 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Melt Chocolate and Butter:
In a heatproof bowl, melt butter and semisweet chocolate together over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.

Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a large bowl, beat together granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until thick and pale, about 2-3 minutes.

Combine with Chocolate Mixture:
Gradually mix the melted chocolate into the egg mixture until smooth.
