Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Parmesan Cream Sauce

✅Ingredients

For the Steak Bites:

1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

For the Parmesan Cream Sauce:

1/2 cup (120ml) beef broth

1 cup (240ml) heavy cream

1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

✅Instructions

1. Prepare the Steak Bites:

1. Season the steak pieces generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the skillet is hot, add the butter and let it melt completely.

3. Add the steak pieces to the skillet in a single layer (work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding).

4. Cook the steak for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked to your preferred doneness.

5. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set them aside on a plate. Leave the juices in the skillet.

2. Make the Garlic Butter:

1. Lower the heat to medium.

2. Add the minced garlic to the juices in the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until fragrant (be careful not to burn the garlic).

3. Prepare the Parmesan Cream Sauce:

1. Pour the beef broth into the skillet and scrape the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon to deglaze and incorporate the flavorful bits.

2. Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

3. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.

4. Simmer the sauce for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency.

4. Combine and Serve:

1. Add the cooked steak bites back into the skillet and toss them in the sauce to coat evenly.

2. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to warm the steak bites through.

3. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
