Ingredients:
For the Dough:
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
2/3 cup warm milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)

1 cup raspberry jam (or jelly)
1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Oil (for deep frying)
Steps to Make Raspberry Jelly Donuts:
Prepare the Dough:
In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with 1 tsp of sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
Mix flour, remaining sugar, and salt. Add in the yeast mixture, eggs, and melted butter.
Knead until smooth, about 6-8 minutes. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
Shape the Donuts:
Roll out the dough to 1/2 inch thickness on a floured surface.
Cut out circles using a cookie cutter or glass. Place them on a tray, cover, and let rest for 20 minutes.
Fry the Donuts:
Heat oil in a deep fryer or pot to 350°F (175°C).
Fry the donuts for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown. Place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Fill with Jelly:
Use a piping bag with a small tip to inject raspberry jam into the center of each donut.
Dust and Serve:
