Natural Soothing Drink for Cough & Chest Comfort
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated or sliced)
- 1 tablespoon honey (add after boiling)
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- A pinch of black pepper
- (Optional) 1 garlic clove, crushed
Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil.
- Add ginger (and garlic if using).
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain.
- Add turmeric and black pepper, stir well.
- Let it cool slightly, then add honey and lemon juice.
- Drink warm.
