🥛 Sugar-Free Condensed Milk (3 Ingredients)
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk (whole milk works best)
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Sweetener to taste (stevia, erythritol, monk fruit, etc.)
Instructions
- Dissolve the cornstarch
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with 1/2 cup of cold milk until smooth.
- Heat the milk
- Pour the remaining milk into a saucepan.
- Add your sweetener and stir well.
- Thicken
- Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan.
- Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Simmer
- After it thickens, lower the heat and cook 5–8 minutes, stirring, until creamy and condensed.
- Cool
- Remove from heat. It will thicken more as it cools.
Tips
- For extra creaminess, blend for 10–15 seconds after cooking
- Store in a closed jar in the fridge for up to 3 days
- Use in coffee, desserts, or recipes that call for condensed milk
