Full Recipe for Grilled Shrimp with Garlic Butter and Parsley
Ingredients :
12 large prawns (or giant shrimp), cleaned, with heads and shells for added flavor
100 gm butter, softened
4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped.
1 small bouquet of fresh parsley, chopped
The juice of half a lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
a fillet of olive oil
Lemon slices for the service
Instructions:
Preparing the shrimp:
Gently remove the dorsal vein from each shrimp while preserving the heads and shells. This will enhance the flavor when cooking.
Preparation of garlic butter and parsley:
In a bowl, mix the soft butter with minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, a pinch of salt and pepper. This mixture will form the base of the intense flavor of your shrimp.
Preparing the grill:
Preheat a barbecue over medium-high heat or grill pan over medium-high. Lightly oil the grills or the stove to prevent the shrimp from sticking.
Grilling the shrimp:
Generously soak each shrimp with the mixture of garlic butter and parsley.
Place the shrimp on the hot grill and cook about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown, crispy on the surface, and juicy on the inside.
Training and service:
Transfer the grilled shrimp to a serving dish, sprinkle them with the remaining melted garlic butter, and serve with lemon quarters for a tangy note.
Accompany this dish of rice, salad or grilled vegetables for a delicious, balanced summer meal.
