Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Creamy Garlic Sauce

Crispy Parmesan Chicken Topped with a Luscious Garlic Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup breadcrumbs

2 eggs, beaten

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 cup heavy cream

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a shallow bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
In another bowl, beat the eggs.
Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat thoroughly in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the coated chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
While the chicken is baking, prepare the creamy garlic sauce. In a saucepan over medium heat, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Remove the chicken from the oven and drizzle the creamy garlic sauce over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
