Honey Bun Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

For the cake:
• 1 box yellow cake mix
• 4 eggs
• 1 cup sour cream
• ¾ cup vegetable oil
• ¾ cup brown sugar
• 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

For the glaze:
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• ¼ cup milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Mix cake batter: In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, sour cream, and oil. Mix until smooth.
3. Make cinnamon swirl: In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
4. Layer the batter: Pour half of the batter into the baking dish. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the batter. Pour the remaining batter on top and gently swirl with a knife.
5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
6. Prepare the glaze: While the cake is still warm, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Pour over the warm cake and spread evenly.
7. Cool slightly, then serve. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
