Ingredients
1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp vegetable oil, divided
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced (optional)
Stir Fry Sauce

1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)
1/4 cup beef broth or water
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch (for thickening)
1 tbsp brown sugar or honey
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp sesame oil (optional, for extra flavor)
Instructions
Marinate the Steak: Season sliced steak with salt, pepper, and cornstarch. Let it sit for 10 minutes to tenderize.

Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, oyster sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, black pepper, and sesame oil until smooth.

Cook the Steak: Heat half of the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the steak in batches to avoid overcrowding and cook for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining oil. Sauté onions, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger (if using) for about 3-4 minutes, or until vegetables are tender-crisp.

Combine and Sauce: Return the steak to the skillet and pour the stir fry sauce over everything. Toss to coat and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and everything is well combined.

Serve: Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles and garnish with extra cracked black pepper or green onions if desired.

Helpful Tips
Tender Beef: Use cornstarch on the beef for extra tenderness and to help the sauce stick.
Adjust the Spice: Add more black pepper or a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat.
Extra Veggies: Feel free to add mushrooms, snap peas, or broccoli for added col
