Here I go again. Seems like people are having trouble finding or reading the recipe I posted so have asked for it again. This makes a lot of cookies. I did half the recipe and made almost 4 doz.
Melt in Your Mouth
Shortbread
3 cups unsalted butter, softened
1-1/2 cups
confectioners’ sugar, sifted
4-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 cups cornstarch
Nonpareils (sprinkles) and/or glace cherries
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add flour and cornstarch and beat until well combined.
2. Roll into 1″ balls and place on ungreased baking sheet 1″ apart. Press lightly with a floured fork and decorate as desired.
3. Bake in 300 degree oven 20-22 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned. Let sit 5 minutes and then remove to cooling racks. Enjoy. 🙂🙃
