Ingredients:
– 1 cup creamy peanut butter
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 cups powdered sugar
– 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 2 tablespoons shortening or coconut oil (optional)
### Instructions:
1. Mix the Filling:
– In a large bowl, mix the peanut butter, softened butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
– Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until the mixture becomes smooth and dough-like.
2. Shape the Balls:
– Roll the peanut butter mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
– Freeze the balls for about 20-30 minutes, or until firm.
3. Melt the Chocolate:
