Homemade Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea
This warm and comforting vanilla cinnamon milk tea combines the soothing flavors of vanilla and cinnamon with a creamy tea base, making it the perfect cozy drink for chilly days or a sweet afternoon treat.
Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups water
2 black tea bags (or loose leaf tea, equivalent to 2 bags)
1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative, such as almond milk)
1 tablespoon honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinnamon stick (optional, for garnish)
Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
Directions:
In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, add the tea bags and simmer for 3-4 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.
While the tea is steeping, heat the milk in another small saucepan over medium heat until warm (but not boiling). Stir in the cinnamon and vanilla extract.
Remove the tea bags from the hot water and discard. Add honey or sugar to the tea, stirring until dissolved.
Pour the warm milk mixture into the brewed tea and stir gently to combine.
Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more honey or sugar if desired.
Pour the tea into a mug and top with whipped cream (optional). Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a cinnamon stick if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy the comforting flavors of vanilla and cinnamon!
