Philly Cheesesteak Pasta

Philly Cheesesteak Pasta 🧀

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef or steak strips
1 diced green bell pepper
1 diced onion
2 cloves of garlic, minced
8 oz of softened cream cheese
1 cup of shredded provolone cheese
12 oz of pasta (either penne or rigatoni works well)
1 cup of beef broth
Salt and pepper, according to your taste
1 tbsp of olive oil

Instructions:

Prepare the Pasta: Start by boiling your pasta choice until it reaches an al dente texture. Once done, drain the water and put the pasta aside.
Sauté the Veggies: Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a sizable skillet. Toss in the diced bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic. Cook these until they’re nicely softened.
Brown the Meat: To the skillet, add your ground beef or steak strips. Continue cooking until the meat is thoroughly browned and cooked through.
Mixing It All Together: Introduce the cream cheese and beef broth to the skillet, stirring until you achieve a creamy consistency. Fold the cooked pasta into this creamy mixture until everything is well combined.
Cheese Topping: Evenly distribute the provolone cheese over the pasta. Place under a broiler until the cheese has melted and formed a bubbly, golden crust.
Serve: Enjoy your meal hot straight from the skillet.
