Lemon Sweets

Ingredients :
- 200 grams of sugar
- 100 ml of fresh lemon juice
- 50 grams of butter
- 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

Directives:
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, lemon juice and butter over medium heat. Mix until sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add zest of lemon and salt, then bring mixture to a boil. Keep baking for about 10 minutes until mixture thickens.
- Remove the pan from the fire and incorporate baking soda. The mixture will boil, mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a pre-buttered mold and let to cool at room temperature for about 1 hour.
- Once cooled, cut the sweets into small squares or shapes of your choice.
- Coat the candies in granulated sugar to give them a sparkly finish.
