1 liter of milk
1 egg
1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice- ————————————-
–Instructions:
Heat the milk: Bring the milk to a gentle boil in a pot, stirring occasionally.
Add the egg: Whisk the egg in a bowl, then slowly pour it into the boiling milk while stirring.
Add the lemon juice: Gradually add the lemon juice; the milk will curdle as the cheese separates from the whey.
Strain the cheese:- Remove from the heat, strain the mixture using cheesecloth or a strainer, squeezing out excess liquid.
Cool and serve: Shape the cooled cheese as desired. Enjoy on toast, salads or as a snack!
