Cannelloni with Creamy Ricotta and Meat Sauce

Ingredients:

For the Meat Sauce:

1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
11 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste

For the Filling:

15 ounces ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper

For the Cannelloni:

12 jumbo cannelloni tubes
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

Make the Meat Sauce:

1.Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
2.Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
3.Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
