Garlic-Infused Pork Chops with Lusciously Cheesy Potatoes
Ingredients:
4 bone-in pork chops
3 tbsp butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
3 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sauté until garlic is fragrant (about 1 minute).
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Sear each side in the garlic butter for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer the chops to a baking dish.
In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
Layer the sliced potatoes in the baking dish with the pork chops. Pour the cheesy sauce over the top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pork is cooked through and potatoes are tender. Serve immediately.
