This ultra-rich, decadent fudge requires only two pantry staples and takes just minutes of active prep time. With no candy thermometer required, it is a foolproof treat that yields a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
Ingredients
- 1 jar (16 oz) Jif Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy Chocolate Fudge Frosting
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Prepare the Baking Dish:
- Line an 8×8-inch square baking dish with aluminum foil, leaving a little overhang on the sides for easy removal later.
- Lightly coat the foil with non-stick cooking spray to ensure the fudge releases cleanly.
- Combine the Ingredients:
- Scoop the entire 16 oz jar of Jif Creamy Peanut Butter and the entire 16 oz tub of Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy Chocolate Fudge Frosting into a large, microwave-safe mixing bowl.
- Melt and Mix:
- Microwave the mixture for 60 to 90 seconds.
- Stop to stir thoroughly every 30 seconds.
- Continue until the mixture is fully melted, completely smooth, and thoroughly combined into a uniform batter.
- Pour and Smooth:
- Pour the warm fudge mixture directly into your prepared 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Use a spatula or offset spatula to spread the mixture evenly into the corners and flatten the top.
- Chill and Set:
- Place the baking dish into the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is completely firm and solid.
- Slice and Serve:
- Grasp the foil overhang to carefully lift the chilled block of fudge out of the baking dish.
- Peel away the foil, place the block on a cutting board, and slice it into neat, bite-sized squares using a sharp knife.
