Homemade Lemon, Garlic, Ginger & Honey Remedy
This comforting homemade mix is popular in many kitchens for its strong natural ingredients and warming flavor. Perfect for cold mornings or cozy nights!
Ingredients:
- 2 lemons, sliced
- 1 whole garlic bulb, peeled
- 1 large ginger root, sliced
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tablespoon black peppercorns (optional)
- 1 to 2 cups raw honey
Method:
- Wash the lemons well and slice them thinly.
- Peel the garlic cloves.
- Slice the fresh ginger into small pieces.
- In a clean mason jar, start layering:
- lemon slices
- garlic cloves
- ginger
- cinnamon sticks
- Repeat the layers until the jar is full.
- Slowly pour the honey over everything until completely covered.
- Close the jar tightly and let it sit overnight in the refrigerator.
How To Use:
- Add 1 spoon to warm water or tea.
- Many people enjoy it in the morning or during cold weather.
