Homemade Lemon, Garlic, Ginger & Honey Remedy

Ingredients:

  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 1 whole garlic bulb, peeled
  • 1 large ginger root, sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorns (optional)
  • 1 to 2 cups raw honey

Method:

  1. Wash the lemons well and slice them thinly.
  2. Peel the garlic cloves.
  3. Slice the fresh ginger into small pieces.
  4. In a clean mason jar, start layering:
    • lemon slices
    • garlic cloves
    • ginger
    • cinnamon sticks
  5. Repeat the layers until the jar is full.
  6. Slowly pour the honey over everything until completely covered.
  7. Close the jar tightly and let it sit overnight in the refrigerator.

How To Use:

  • Add 1 spoon to warm water or tea.
  • Many people enjoy it in the morning or during cold weather.
